When we left to go to Penn's Cave we passed an accident and we saw a body bag on the ground. When we arrived at our campground we stayed in the Nicholas Cabin. The next day we went to the actual caves. We walked down to the boat dock and then boarded the boat. Once we were in the caves we were 100 feet under the ground. During our boat trip we had two swans attack our boat. In the cave we saw a lot of bats. We all liked the caves. When we returned to the cabin we decided to spend some time outside. It was foggy outside and a little hard to see. When we were ready to leave we packed up the trailer, all of our gear and headed on home. That was the Penn's Cave camping trip. Written by: Tyler |

Every December we take a trip out to Camp Ware. On this trip we boys do basically nothing except play video games. The parents do all of the cooking and clean up. Thanks!! So we are allowed to stay up all night, play video games and watch movies. On Saturday we were all playing video games and my mom, being a usual parent, says “go outside and get some fresh air”. So we go outside to play football. As usual the leaders say to play two hand touch but we just say ok and play tackle anyway. So when we were playing football Quentin and I hit heads and both fell to the ground. He was alright but I got up and saw that I was bleeding. Mr. John took me into the bath room and fixed me up. My mom then took me into the hospital and I got five stitches. The rest of the day we stayed inside and played all day. I then gave my mom a hard time for making us go outside. In the end it was all fun and the turkey dinner was amazing.

On January 18, 2009 we took a trip to AvalancheXpress in York, P.A. to go snow tubing. We all had loads of fun. We arrived in York around 8:00 p.m. because we wern't able to get in untill then. After we paid, we walk to the lanes and everyone had to either ride a pully that pulled you and your tube up the hill, or walk up the hill that really got annoying. We rode the slopes for about two hours. After people were done we left at around 10:00 P.M. It was a fun and exciting trip. |
